What Is KA-HI Horse Supplement?
KA-HI is a "cold-processed" (no steam used), ration-balancing, pelleted Vitamin, Protein, and Mineral supplement. KA-HI Horse Supplement is intended to be fed at the rate of 1/4 to 1 pound per head, per day, depending on your basic ration and the activity and needs of the individual horse.
Why Should I Have to Feed a Supplement?
The question of adding supplements to a horse's basic feed ration has been and will continue to be a controversial subject. We like to think of it as similar to insurance - it's sure nice to have it when you need it! KA-HI provides nutritional insurance against protein, vitamin, and mineral deficiencies.
The value of all horses, especially racing and show stock, has spiraled to unprecedented heights during the past several years. Likewise, the costs of training, racing, and raising horses have climbed accordingly. When you consider all this, the few pennies a day it costs to add Kauffman's KA-HI to your horse's daily diet is a minute amount in relation to your investment and other daily costs.
If the use of a KA-HI
attracts one additional bid in the sales ring
helps you move up one position on the board in just one race
gives you a blue instead of a red in the show ring
provides one additional foal from your broodmare band
or helps during times of stress
then the financial rewards will in many cases be enough to cover the cost of feeding KA-HI to all your stock for an entire year.

All Natural Sweet PDZ® Horse Stall Refresher, now available in Classic Powder and New Granular! Try it with stall mats.
Easy to Apply: Animals of each species show a surprising range of ammonia production, due to the differences in activity and eliminative behavior. The quantity of Sweet PDZ® to be used, therefore, will depend upon specific conditions.
For a standard 12'x12' horse stall, simply sprinkle 3-5 cups on the surface of the stall area, with heaviest treatment where urination is concentrated. Then, as part of the daily stall maintenance, remove saturated bedding material as usual, sprinkle wet sports with Sweet PDZ®, and move dry bedding from along walls to center of stall.
Safe to Use: Sweet PDZ® is non-toxic and non-hazardous. From the time Sweet PDZ® is applied until it is disposed of on a garden, field or compost pile, it is safe to handle. Moreover, it will not crack hooves!
Other Animals: Sweet PDZ® is safe and effective for use in all pet and livestock habitats.
How It Works: Sweet PDZ® removes ammonia from the air by adsorption, a process in which the ammonia sticks to the granules. The ammonium in the urine is trapped within the molecules of Sweet PDZ® by an exchange of ions and thus, held harmless by an ionic bond. The result is a fresh and healthy stall environment.
Sweet PDZ® is unscented. Masking agents try to cover up ammonia smell with an odor of their own. They don't address the problem, they hide it!
Sweet PDZ® dries as it deodorizes.
The Bottom Line: Sweet PDZ® is an economical treatment for your odor problems that extends bedding life, reduces fly population and eases clean up. The result is a healthier, cleaner environment for your horses with less labor, at a lower cost.
