Biotin is a co-enzyme for energy generation processes in mammals (fatty acid synthesis, gluconeogenesis, and amino acid and cholesterol metabolism) and as such it plays an integral part in hoof quality and growth. Of the eight isomers of Biotin (8 different forms), only d-Biotin has vitamin activity. All of our hoof supplements feature the highest quality spray-dried d-Biotin to ensure uniform vitamin distribution throughout the product.

Biotin-240 with Methionine
Biotin-240 is a concentrated supplemental source of d-Biotin with the added sulfur-containing amino acid Methionine. This supplement is blended into a dry, stable base for equine using our same high-quality, spray-dried Biotin and the dl- form of Methionine.

A supplemental source of d-Biotin (sometimes referred to as Vitamin H) blended into a dry, stable base for equine. When used at the recommended daily feeding level of one enclosed scoop fed twice per day, this supplement will provide 15 mg of Biotin.

Our most concentrated supplemental source of d-Biotin. Like our Biotin 240 with Methionine, Biotin-1085 is enhanced by the addition of the sulfur-containing amino acid Methionine. This supplement is blended into a dry, stable base for equine. When used at the recommended daily feeding rate of one level tablespoon (enclosed scoop) per head, per day, this supplement will provide 15 mg of Biotin and 1,250 mg of Methionine daily.
